Locker Room Monitor

Some teams are looking for parents and other adults to help keep our locker rooms running smoothly before and after practices — getting skates tied, gear on, and kids out the door on time, so our coaches can focus on prepping and coaching. No hockey experience needed. If you've volunteered to help - here are your first steps!

To provide a safe environment for our club, we require the below items be complete before you help in the locker room. All items below are free or reimbursable by the club — please email your receipts to the club's treasurer (listed here) if you incur any cost.

Step 1. USA Hockey Registration

Go to USA Hockey Registration and register as a volunteer.

Step 2. Background Screening

Complete a background check which can be found on USA Hockey’s website. Follow this link: https://www.usahockey.com/backgroundscreen

Step 3. SafeSport

Complete SafeSport training which can be found on USA Hockey’s website. Follow this link: https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining

Step 4. Reach out to your Team Manager

They will help coordinate getting you involved.
